What equipment do I need for a pool table projector?
A standard projector aimed at the table (tripod, wall or ceiling mount), and a desktop, laptop or Raspberry Pi with a browser, connected to the projector directly or through a casting device or other screen-casting method. A cellphone is not used as the projection computer. You also need a free Pool Practice Cards account.
Can I use my own projector?
Yes. The Projection System runs in a browser, so any projector your computer can display on can be used. No projector hardware is included with the software.
How does pool table projector calibration work?
In the Projector Hub you register your table, then line the projected outline up with the cushions using the built-in calibration tools: position, scale, rotation and keystone. The settings are saved to your table, so layouts land on the correct diamonds every session.
Can I practice the 3.5–11–6 System with the projector?
Yes. The projected layouts use the same Diamond Numbering System and 3.5–11–6 framework as the cards and the app, so you can practice the corresponding layouts directly on a real table.
